The Partners at Queensbury are pleased to welcome two new members of the team.
Lisa Grigg joins us as our Executive Assistant who will work directly with the Partners and will be responsible for the smooth running of the Firms operations.
Kate Aspinall is our new Project Manager, who will be working mainly within our Projects and Programmes sector dealing with all aspect of our clients change and project needs

FASHION FOR RELIEF POP-UP SHOP WESTFIELD
On 26th November 2019, Fashion for Relief opened its fourth exclusive Pop-up shop in the Westfield Shopping centre London and the Queensbury Partners were there to support our great client and worthy cause.
The designer pop-up store stocks limited edition pieces donated by top brands, Naomi’s celebrity friends and items from her own wardrobe, and is open to the public until 8th December 2019.
All funds raised will go to the Mayor’s fund for London who support education and employability programmes for young people.

QUEENSBURY SUPPORTS WOMEN LEADERS AWARDS 2019
The Partners at Queensbury are proud to support the Milton Keynes Women Leaders awards 2019. The awards evening was held at the Doubletree Hotel in Milton Keynes, on 11th October 2019 and recognises, “not only equality in the workplace but also that a work force and society that is fully representative of the people it represents is both good for business and the right thing to do”.
Queensbury took a table of 10 and Sarah Thorne presented the award for Sport.

MK SPORTING LUNCH IN AID OF SPORTS AID
The Partners were happy to support SportsAid by taking a table at the Milton Keynes Sporting lunch club on 4th October 2019.
“Sports Aid is a national charity proudly supporting young British sportsmen and women who aspire to be our next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions”.
The afternoon covered a lunch followed by guest speaker Jeremy Coney MBE, (former New Zealand Cricketer).

FASHION FOR RELIEF 2019
For the fourth year Queensbury is involved in Naomi Campbells charity fashion show and dinner, ‘Fashion for Relief’ on 14th September 2019.
Our client, Fashion for Relief was founded in 2005, and has “supported many important humanitarian causes to assist those that have been impacted and devastated by the fight against Ebola. They have also provided relief for disasters such as the Haiti earthquake, hurricane Katrina, the Japanese earthquake and subsequent tsunami. Over the last few years, they have worked alongside charities to raise money that provides life-saving food, shelter and medical treatment to children around the world.”
The event took place at the British Museum and included a fashion show, together with a gala dinner and auction. Attendees included a number of celebrities, influencers and charity partners, raising money for important causes around the world, including the Mayor’s fund for London.

QUEENSBURY WELCOMES NEW HEAD OF IMMIGRATION
Queensbury are pleased to announce the arrival of Pavandeep Bassi as their new Head of Immigration. Pavandeep is an experienced Senior Immigration lawyer, who specialises in handling complex immigration matters for individuals and corporations. Pavandeep joins with nine years’ experience working for major leading law Immigration firms, specialising on the points-based system, investors, entrepreneurs and the work-sponsored Tier 2 scheme.

QUEENSBURY RECEIVES OISC APPROVAL
In September 2019, QCL achieved regulatory status with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) in order to deliver just that. The OISC is a regulatory body which regulates immigration advise and is sponsored and approved by the Home Office.

QUEENSBURY LAUNCHES BUSINESS INCUBATOR
Queensbury has always been committed to supporting entrepreneurs both locally, nationally and Internationally and for a long time we have been looking to launch its own Business incubator.
Whilst supporting any new business venture, our Incubator will primarily focus on young individuals looking for support and advice to launch their ideas.
The Queensbury business incubator incorporates a ‘seven stage’ process to guide entrepreneurs through the various different aspects of their business idea, from developing its concept through to launching and to supporting during its early years.
